Our communities are managed by team members who are passionate about providing world class customer service to our residents. jobDescription The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving high-impact learning experiences that align with business priorities. This role partners closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), facilitators, and business leaders to translate complex needs into engaging, scalable learning solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end instructional design for leadership, technical, compliance, and professional development programs Conduct needs analyses to identify performance gaps and recommend learning or non-learning solutions Design blended learning experiences (eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, in-person, job aids, gamification, etc.) that support and align with strategic enterprise goals Apply adult learning principles and evidence-based instructional strategies Create storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for learning solutions Partner with facilitators to ensure strong delivery alignment and learner engagement Evaluate program effectiveness using data and iterate based on insights Shape and create instructional design best practices and processes (storyboard templates, reviews, timelines, etc.) Mentor junior instructional designers and model team standards and best practices Success Measures Program effectiveness and learner performance improvement Stakeholder satisfaction and alignment with business goals Scalability and reuse of learning solutions Quality and consistency of instructional design outputs qualifications What You Have Qualifications: 8-10+ years of instructional design experience Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and LMS platforms Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills Ability to translate business needs into measurable learning outcomes Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to successful and timely Desired Characteristics Professional and personable with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment Ability to prioritize, think independently and problem solve to ensure projects are completed in an effective/timely manner Ability to work with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals Self-starter, motivated and proactive Strong organization and planning skills, detail oriented, and ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments Excellent verbal and written communication Ideal candidate demonstrates accountability, thinks critically, and demonstrates courage when presenting ideas additionalInformation Benefits An anticipated base salary between 110,000-$130,000 plus annual bonus. Salary will be offered depending on skills and experience. Paid time off including vacation, sick time, and 14 holidays.
