Sustenance Engineer at Agiliad in Pune, Bengaluru

Tech Lead will be responsible for handling the field incidents of Storage products. In addition, should be able to mentor and guide the sustenance engineers in the team, coordinate with client SMEs to quickly resolve the open field incident. Present complex product details to the leadership team, work on technical solutions, proposals, Development of support tools for log analysis to meet the marketing and customer requirements. Overall play a critical role in on time closure of Field Incidents, internal tools development and ensure the Agile Scrum based process for delivery in the project.

• Debug product issues and find the RCA or exceed engineering and marketing requirements
• Work closely with Development team to understand the product architecture and implementation
• Excellent with debugging skill and distributed systems
• Proficient in agail based sprint development model and should be able to work as Scrum Master or, Product Owner
• Technically guide and mentor the sustenance engineer in the team and coordinate with product SMEs for technical issues resolution

• 6-10 years of professional experience in working with storage, virtualization in the area of software development, debugging and new feature development
• Excellent knowledge of Storage Domain, iSCSI, FC protocols, SAN, NAS, SAS SATA, SSD, Computer Networking, Virtualization, Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience in any one scripting language Python, Scala, or Javascript and any Test Automation Framework
• Excellent in manual QA, testbed creation to reproduce the issued in house and test the solutions
• Bachelor''s or Master engineering degree or equivalent

• Atitude to learn and contribute to new tools and technologies
• Must be able to work independently and ability to lead and provide technical direction to sustenance team
• Experience in resolving critical product issues, simulating customer environment in the lab to reproduce customer defects, debugging, bug life cycle
• Well versed with Agile based Scrum software development life cycle

• Expert in Storage and virtualization
• Strong understanding of storage concepts (SAN, NAS, DAS)
• Hands-on experience with storage protocols such as: SMB,NFS,CIFS
• Strong linux and networking skills
• Excellent with debugging skill
• Strong python prgramming and debugging skills

• Good analytical ability - synthesizes complex or diverse information, collect and research data
• Good in problem solving - ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and test procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members and managers
• Reasoning ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
