Job Description
Summary: Age of Learning is the leading developer of engaging and effective Pre-K through 5th grade learning resources. This part-time summer internship offers students the opportunity to work on real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to a mission that supports children's learning success.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement new features, as requested by team leadership/product owner
- Triage and squash bugs based on priorities set by team leadership
- Participate in and contribute to scrum/agile ceremonies
- Validate, create, and edit documentation for existing and new code
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate or graduate student preferably focused in computer science or a related field
- Must be available at least 25 hours per week for 10 weeks during the summer internship program
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, with the ability to work in person at our Glendale, CA headquarters a minimum of two days per week
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Great communicator and able to collaborate in a team environment
