Job Description
Summary: AeroVect is transforming ground handling with autonomy, redefining how airlines and ground service providers around the globe run day-to-day operations. They are seeking a Developer Productivity Intern to improve the engineering team's software building process through AI-related developer tools and collaboration with engineers to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Claude Skills & Commands: Design and implement custom Claude skills and slash commands that automate common engineering workflows and surface relevant context
- MCP Server Development: Build custom MCP servers that connect Claude to internal tools and data — for example, an MCP server that lets Claude triage and query rosbags from Foxglove
- Cloud Agent Workflows: Explore and set up workflows using cloud-based Claude agents (e.g., Claude Code) to automate tasks like code review, testing, and documentation
- Adoption & Impact Tracking: Define and instrument metrics to measure AI tool adoption across the engineering team and assess the impact on developer productivity
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with autonomy and software teams to respond to a wide range of workflow and tooling needs
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, C++)
- Working understanding of the capabilities and limitations of large language models, including how to use them effectively in practice
- Familiarity with modern development tooling: Git, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working across teams in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or other LLM based coding assistants
- Familiarity with MCP or building other tool integrations for LLMs
- Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicles (ROS/ROS2)
