Summary: Aerospike is a leading real-time database company powering mission-critical workloads. They are seeking a proactive Finance Intern for Summer 2026 to contribute to financial operations and support strategic planning through hands-on experience in financial reporting, data automation, and SaaS metrics. Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing management presentations, monthly financial reviews, and reports for senior leadership - Support usage-based billing analysis and automation initiatives. This includes exploring complex billing data, identifying discrepancies, and helping develop scalable tools to improve accuracy and operational efficiency - Engage with FP&A and Business Intelligence (BI) software for report creation, financial analysis, and data maintenance to ensure absolute reliability in our reporting - Support process modernization initiatives, including exploring and implementing AI-enabled tools and automated finance workflows Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed (2026) a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (MBA), or a related quantitative field. *(Recent graduates may be considered on an hourly/contract basis).* - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, data modeling) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly - Ability to manage competing priorities, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - Prior internship or relevant coursework in corporate finance, accounting, or data analytics - Familiarity with modern ERP or financial planning systems - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) - A strong interest in the enterprise software / SaaS industry Required Skills: Financial Reporting, Billing Analysis, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Data Modeling Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: This is a paid internship.
