Job Description
Summary: Adventist HealthCare is a faith-based organization known for its high-quality, compassionate care in the Maryland area. They are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to provide analysis and reports regarding the facility's financial performance and assist in budgeting and financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide facility leadership with analysis and reports/presentations regarding the facility’s revenue, expenses, utilization, productivity, and other ad hoc reports as requested
- Assist the finance and financial planning teams in preparing facility expense budget and monitors variances on a monthly basis
- Provide all necessary information/supporting documentation to assist accounting and finance teams in completing the monthly financial close process
- Complete Capital Expense Request forms and obtains the appropriate authorizing signatures for all capital expense requests for the facility
- Comply with all privacy standards of the facility and the healthcare system, and other state and federal regulations as they apply
- Other tasks related to the financial operations of the facility as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline
- 0-3 years of experience in healthcare finance or related field
