Cardiac Sonographer

Our Client is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to support cardiac diagnostic services in a hospital cardiology environment. This role will be responsible for performing cardiac echocardiography studies, providing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support, and maintaining high standards of quality, patient safety, and clinical care.
Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Job Type: Travel Contract – 13 Weeks
Compensation: $48 – $51 per hour
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, generally 8:00 AM–6:30 PM; schedule varies
The ideal candidate will have recent Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography experience, appropriate echocardiography and vascular credentials, current BLS certification, and prior travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform cardiac echocardiography studies within the scope of the assigned role.
· Provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support in a hospital cardiology environment.
· Obtain and evaluate appropriate cardiac ultrasound images according to established clinical and departmental procedures.
· Work independently while maintaining quality standards and patient-focused care.
· Follow applicable imaging, patient-safety, infection-control, and departmental procedures.
· Collaborate effectively with cardiology, imaging, and other healthcare team members as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography.
· Current BLS certification.
· Appropriate echocardiography credential, including one of the following:
RDCS through ARDMS
RCS or RCCS through CCI
ACS through CCI
Additional vascular credential, including one of the following:
RVT through ARDMS
RVS through CCI
RS through ARRT
· Prior travel assignment experience.
· Ability to work the required variable 10-hour day schedule.
· Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Additional Requirements
· This is a travel-only assignment; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location.
· Floating is not required.
· No on-call requirement.
· Candidates must be available for the full 13-week assignment..
