Responsibilities include:Rooming patients and preparing them for examination and treatmentObtaining and documenting patient medical histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaintsRecording vital signs and updating electronic medical recordsAssisting providers with dermatologic examinations, procedures, biopsies, surgeries, and cosmetic treatmentsPreparing exam and procedure rooms, instruments, and suppliesEducating patients on treatment plans, medications, skincare recommendations, and follow-up careProcessing specimens and maintaining accurate clinical documentationEnsuring patient confidentiality and compliance with company policies and healthcare regulationsProviding outstanding customer service to patients and visitorsSupporting clinic operations and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environmentQualificationsPrevious customer service experience requiredPrior medical assistant, healthcare, or clinical experience preferredDermatology experience preferred but not requiredMedical Assistant certification, diploma, or completion of a medical vocational program preferredCPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 4 weeks of employmentAbility to learn and understand medical terminology, anatomy, and vital signsStrong computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical recordsExcellent communication, organization, and multitasking skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced team environmentAbout ADCSAdvanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is the nation's premier dermatology practice, providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services.
