Strategic Leadership

● Serve as the shareholders' representative and lead a strategic joint venture responsible for the development of a large-scale industrial city project.

● Guide the organisation through a transformation stage, determining the next phase of development and setting long-term strategy.

● Drive business transformation, growth strategy, and overall commercial and operational management.

Board & Stakeholder Management

● Report to the Joint Venture Board of Directors and work closely with the Board Chairman (Legal Representative).

● Manage and balance the expectations and interests of shareholders from both joint venture partners.

● Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including with the Board, shareholders, and government-linked organisations.

Team Leadership

● Lead and manage a workforce of approximately 150 employees, with fewer than 10 direct reports.

● Provide leadership across a predominantly local management team and workforce.

Government & Cross-Cultural Relations

● Maintain strong government relations within the local business environment.

● Provide cross-cultural leadership, bridging the expectations and working styles of both joint venture partners.

Requirements

● Aged 50–55 years old (maximum 60).

● Extensive leadership experience in China, with a strong understanding of Chinese business culture and the government-linked business environment.

● Fluent in English and Mandarin.

● Proven track record in large-scale property, township, or industrial park development.

● Strong stakeholder and Board management experience.

● Demonstrated cross-cultural leadership capability.

● Experience driving business transformation and growth strategy.

● Strong technical and commercial understanding of large-scale property or township development.

● Proven experience working in and leading businesses in China.

● Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with Boards, shareholders, and government-linked organisations.
