ADM Corn Plant is seeking a Plant-Wide Mechanical Integrity Inspector to support its growing Mechanical Integrity (MI) program across all major departments and process areas. This position covers the full plant footprint — including the Refinery, Sorbitol, Alcohol, Mill, Feedhouse, Tank Farm, and CO2 facilities — and operates in close coordination with the MI Coordinator.

The plant currently employs one Mechanical Integrity professional responsible for managing a program that encompasses pressure vessels, piping, storage tanks, and associated fixed equipment across a large, multi-department industrial facility. Due to the scale of the program and the volume of compliance obligations, an additional dedicated plant-wide inspector is required to support inspection execution, maintain compliance schedules, and advance the plant's MI program maturity. This is not a department-specific role, but a
plantwide position until full staffing evolves to dedicated roles. The successful candidate must be capable of working fluidly across all plant areas, adapting to varying process environments, and managing a broad and complex inspection workload with minimal supervision.The inspector will perform MI-related work across all of the following plant departments:

• Refinery — including piping and acid/caustic circuits, HHC/PDP-classified pressure piping, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and associated process equipment
• Sorbitol — fixed equipment inspection support in the sorbitol production area
• Alcohol — pressure vessels, piping, and associated fixed equipment in the ethanol/alcohol process units
• Mill — grain processing equipment, pressure vessels, and related mechanical components
• Feedhouse — pressure vessels and process equipment supporting grain receiving and handling
• Tank Farm — aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) subject to API 653 inspection requirements
• CO2 — pressure vessels, piping, and ancillary equipment in the CO2 recovery and compression system

Note: Assignment to a single department or process area is not feasible under current staffing levels. A minimum of four area inspectors would be required to support dedicated departmental coverage. This position is intentionally structured as a plant-wide role.Inspection Execution

• Perform external visual inspections of pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks in accordance with API 510, API 570, and API 653
• Conduct and/or coordinate ultrasonic thickness testing (UTT) and other non-destructive examination (NDE) activities across all departments
• Inspect pressure relief devices, flanges, piping circuits, and ancillary equipment for condition, compliance, and fitness for continued service
• Walk down process units to identify unreported deficiencies, active leaks, coating failures, and other conditions requiring action
• Support HHC/PDP piping circuitization activities including field sketching, CML identification, and inspection data collection

Compliance & Documentation

• Assist the MI Coordinator in tracking and closing jurisdictional inspection obligations, open action register items, and code-required inspection dates
• Prepare inspection reports, thickness data records, and supporting documentation in accordance with ASME B31.3, API 510/570/653, and applicable jurisdictional requirements
• Maintain up-to-date records of inspection findings, corrective actions, and next due dates for assigned equipment
• Support coordination with third-party inspection vendors and other authorized inspection agencies as directed
• Assist in the preparation of jurisdictional permit applications and related submissions
