Job Description
Summary: Adient is a global leader in automotive seating, known for its innovative approach and high-performance team. The Supply Chain Intern will play a crucial role in managing supplier delivery performance, supporting master data management, and collaborating with various teams to maintain the supply of raw materials.
Responsibilities:
- Manage domestic and international supply base supporting North American Manufacturing
- Manage Supplier Delivery Performance
- Support Master Data Management (MDM) adherence activities
- Attend Demand and Supply Plan reviews
- Support Capacity studies
- Report out on Supply Plan KPI’s related to Supplier Management
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain Execution Team, Supply Chain Planning Team and Operations on maintaining supply of raw material
- Support standardization across region
- Perform analysis as required
- Gain hands on experience in a central planning team
Required Qualifications:
- Manage domestic and international supply base supporting North American Manufacturing

- Gain hands on experience in a central planning team
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and working towards a 4 year B.S. degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management or Finance
- Available to work up to 40 hours per week
- Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0
- Solid analytical skills and work effectively with customers, suppliers, and the development team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail, organization skills and follow up
- Proficient in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or co-op experience in automotive related position an added plus
- Ability to working within high-performing teams in highly collaborative environments
- Building relationships with key internal and external customers, based on trust and confidence
- Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Translating business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projects
