Job Description
Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for managing Corporate and Commercial full-cycle recruiting process, from identifying staffing needs and sourcing qualified candidates through selection, offer, pre-employment activities and onboarding coordination. The Recruiter partners with hiring managers and HR to attract and evaluation qualified talent, provide a consistent and professional candidate experience, and support a smooth transition from candidate to new employee.
A successful Recruiter must follow all ADC LTD NM and HR Policies and Procedures as well as adhere to the Company’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Plan Policies. The Recruiter is required to be an effective team player, who will not only get the job done but is equally invested in quality improvement. The Recruiter reports to the Corporate Human Resources Manager. The Recruiter applies consistent, objective, and job-related selection practices while maintaining accurate and confidential recruiting records.
Essential Tasks (minimum requirements) to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and offer coordination. This applies to internal and external recruitment efforts.
• Partner with HR Manager and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, responsibilities, qualifications, and hiring priorities.
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies appropriate to the position and labor market.
• Sources candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, recruiting platforms, career events, and other appropriate channels.
• Review applications and resumes using established, job-related selection criteria.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews consistent with approved hiring practices.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams and maintain timely communication throughout the recruiting process.
• Provide hiring managers with objective candidate information and facilitate consistent evaluation against established qualifications.
• Maintain organized candidate pipelines and provide regular update to HR Manager and hiring managers regarding recruiting activity and hiring progress.
• Manage candidate communications, including interview scheduling, status updates, declinations, and offer-related communications.
• Support candidate evaluation and selection by providing objective, job-related candidate information.
• Assist with preparation and coordination of employment offers in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Protect confidential candidate and company information and handle recruiting information appropriately.
• Monitor recruiting activity and provide regular updates regarding candidate pipelines, hiring progress, and recruiting metrics.
• Stay informed about applicable employment and recruiting requirements and follow company policies and procedures. Escalate compliance questions or concerns to the appropriate HR management.
• Assist with pre-employment and new-hire onboarding activities following offer acceptance.
• Coordinate with HR, hiring managers, payroll, IT, and other departments to support a smooth onboarding process.
• Assist with collection and processing of required new-hire documentation.
• Coordinate and conduct orientation, introductory meetings, and other onboarding activities as assigned.
• Communication onboarding requirements and next steps to new hires and ensure appropriate handoff from recruiting to onboarding.
• Follow established recruiting, selection, offer, screening, and onboarding procedures.
• Assist with recruiting reports, HR projects, process improvement and other HR initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education and experience in human resources, business, communications, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes.
• Experience recruiting a variety of professionals, technical, operational, or specialized positions.
• Professional HR or recruiting certifications where applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to assess candidates against defined, job-related qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in principles and practices of Human Resources employment law, policies, recruitment and training practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate judgement when handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, Microsoft Office, Zoom, or comparable technology.
• Ability to establish professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Adept at problem-solving, identifying issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
• High level of professionalism and execute confidentiality at all times.
• Prioritize and plan work activities effectively.
• Organized, accurate and thoroughly monitor work for quality.
• Effectively read and interpret information, present data in a resourceful manner and skillfully gather and analyze information.
• Dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction and improve performance through feedback.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Work independently and productively in the absence of supervision.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Preferred working knowledge of Ceridian/Dayforce HCM application.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not directly supervise.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Employment is contingent upon the successful results of a background check and drug screen.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will frequently be required to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer and using the phone.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This position may require additional hours and weekend work to accommodate for business needs.
Telework Eligibility
ADC offers full-time, hybrid and short-term telework arrangements for eligible employees when strategic priorities and specific work requirements arise, and if the supervisor deems the employee is suited for such an arrangement. Guidelines have been established to assist the employee in efficient production of their job duties and sets forth the expectations to be followed if a regular full-time, hybrid or short term telework arrangement is approved.
Probation
Six-month probation at start of initial employment and/or when position is new for the employee.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
