The role holder will be responsible to own up his individual & professional as Electrical Engineer in Technical Services Department for City Gas Distribution Business in natural Gas Industry. He must be from Oil and Gas Oil and Gas background.

JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for meticulously overseeing contract administration and compliance, defining detailed technical specifications for projects, managing procurement processes, driving innovation and technology integration initiatives, collaborating with vendors to ensure product quality, and fostering team engagement and development to optimize departmental performance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for CNG/DRS/CGS/LCNG/DCU/EV Stations & Solar Projects.
• Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Perform calculations to determine electrical loads and select appropriate equipment and materials.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
• Ensure designs adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues to optimize performance.
• Prepare and review of engineering design calculations, drawings, Layouts, and design reports to suit to project schedule.
• Ensure engineering deliverables with high quality as per departmental operating procedure and guidelines.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of MS-office & AutoCAD.
• Familiar with Engineering standards AS/NZS, IEC,EN, BS, IEEE/ANSI, NEC, and NFC & etc.
• Prepare and review of Single Line diagram, Schemes, Cable routing layout, review of BOM, RFP & RFQ
• Preparation of technical specifications and review of tender specifications.
• Sizing/selection of PLC system, Transformer, Inverter, Inverter Transformer, MV/LV switchgear/CRP Panel, Cable, Bus Bar/Duct, DG, UPS, Battery/Battery charger etc.
• Calculation of Cable sizing, system Fault current, Power loss, Earthing, Lightning protection system, Lighting/Illumination system.
• Design & Review of Equipment layouts, SLD/Schemes, General Arrangements (GA) of Indoor/Outdoor Control room/Substations drawings.
• Review of Manufacturers/Vendor/Subcontractors Techno-Commercial Offers, Drawings & Documentations related to the products and services.Knowledge on other allied systems such as SCADA, CCTV, Weather Monitoring stations, Fire Alarm system & etc. Achieve agreed upon targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Ensuring PESO / PNGRB / EB Compliance reports and maintain record
• Plan, develop and oversee the requirement of CNG/DRS/CGS/LCNG Stations.
• Preparation of layouts and subsequent PESO/CFO/DM approvals in co-ordination with user
• Any other job assigned from time to time.
