Summary: Acorns is a financial wellness app that helps everyday people and families save and invest money for the long term. They are seeking a Finance Intern to assist in enhancing strategic and financial decision-making across the company, working closely with various teams to provide financial insights and streamline workflows. Responsibilities: - Assist in building and updating financial models and scenarios to inform long-term forecasting and strategic decision-making - Partner with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to provide financial insights that support ongoing business initiatives and growth - Streamline finance workflows by identifying opportunities for automation and enhancing existing analytical tools to accelerate decision-making - Contribute to ad-hoc analyses and high-impact presentations that provide leadership with visibility into the company’s financial health - Develop a deep understanding of our product, business model, and the competitive landscape Required Qualifications: - Junior standing (Graduating 2027) majoring in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field - Must be able to work for the duration of the internship (full-time availability for 10-weeks starting in June 2026) - Excellent proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, specifically for financial modeling - Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze and present data in a logical manner - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - Ability to create compelling presentations for peers and executives alike - Strong sense of ownership, pride of work, attention to detail, and ability to self-start - Exceptional drive and precision in delivery - A belief that your work is tied to your life's mission - Optimism about the potential of societal change Required Skills: Financial modeling, Excel / Google Sheets Important Skills: Business acumen, Data analysis Benefits: Flexible work hours and location, Monthly events, panel discussions, and speakers, Talented and motivated team members who care deeply about one another, our mission, and our customers., The rare opportunity to create a new world.
