Summary: The ACLU is seeking an Undergraduate Intern for the National Advocacy Institute team within their Executive Department. The role involves supporting admissions and enrollment processes, assisting in student services, and participating in program planning and logistics for a youth advocacy program. Responsibilities: - Process student enrollments and flag important student accessibility and accommodations requests - Assist with data entry, tracking, and other database related needs - Track collaboration with outside vendors supporting NAI - Support communications to students and families - Work on program planning and logistics, including the opportunity to plan and facilitate whole aspects of the program Required Qualifications: - Currently be matriculated undergraduate students or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience - Must be based in the U.S. for the entire duration of the internship - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - An interest in youth-programming, activism, and advocacy - Be committed to advancing the mission of the ACLU - Center and embed the principles of equity, inclusion and belonging in their work by demonstrating commitment to diversity with an approach that respects and values multiple perspectives - Be committed to work collaboratively and respectfully toward resolving obstacles and conflict Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with young people is preferred (camp counselor, Residential Advisors, mentoring, etc.) Important Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Youth programming Nice-to-Have Skills: Activism, Advocacy Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: A stipend is available for students who are lawfully authorized to work., Arrangements can be made with educational institutions for work/study or course credit.
