Job Description
Summary: The ACLU seeks a Graduate intern in the Technology-Analytics Department of the ACLU’s National office. This role involves creating quantitative analyses and visualizations to support decision making across advocacy, legal, and electoral programs.
Responsibilities:
- Help build analytical tools, including dashboards for internal partners
- Conduct quantitative analyses
- Collect, clean, and join datasets from diverse sources
- Interpret the results of analyses for non-technical audiences
- Present work internally and to stakeholders on other teams
Required Qualifications:
- Currently be matriculated graduate students
- Must be based in the U.S. for the entire duration of the internship
- Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or a similar analytics and programming language
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with data collection and cleaning a plus
