Job Description
The Role
Accurate is on the hunt for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Client Services team. This is a temporary, full-time 3-month contract with the possibility of extension and/or permanent placement. We welcome applicants based in Edmonton or Calgary to apply. The person we envision for this role is a creative, organized, and detail-oriented communicator who takes genuine pride in how a brand looks, sounds, and shows up; whether that’s in an email campaign, at a client event, or on a social media post.
You will work closely with multiple teams to bring Accurate’s brand to life across every channel; managing our social media presence, maintaining our website, producing newsletters, planning events, and ensuring our client-facing materials are always polished and on-brand. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role for someone who thrives on variety and can move fluidly between creative work and operational logistics.
Core Accountabilities
Brand & Content Management
- Design and produce branded materials using Canva and other tools (we love AI!), ensuring visual consistency in tone, colour, typography, and layout.
- Audit and clean up existing assets, templates, and documentation to bring them in line with current brand standards.
- Maintain a centralized, organized repository of reusable content including templates, case studies, client testimonials, and internal wins.
Social Media Management
- Plan, create, and schedule content across Accurate’s social media platforms (including Instagram and LinkedIn).
- Develop a consistent posting cadence that reflects the company’s voice, highlights team culture, client events, service offerings, and industry insights.
- Monitor engagement and report on performance to inform future content decisions.
Website Maintenance
- Keep Accurate’s website current and visually aligned with brand standards, including updating service descriptions, team pages, blog content, and event information.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure messaging reflects current offerings and company positioning.
Newsletter Creation & Internal Communications
- Design and produce regular client-facing and internal newsletters that inform, engage, and reinforce Accurate’s brand.
- Own and execute broader internal communications including announcements, event invitations, reminders, and company updates, ensuring staff feel informed and connected.
External Communications & Email Campaigns
- Support the creation and delivery of client-facing email campaigns including outage alerts, marketing announcements, and event promotions.
- Maintain brand standards and a consistent tone across all external platforms and communications touchpoints.
Event Coordination
- Lead the planning, promotion, and end-to-end coordination of client-facing events including appreciation events, webinars, and seminars.
- Manage logistics, vendor coordination, venue booking, SWAG procurement, and all event-related communications including invitations and follow-ups.
- Ensure every event reflects Accurate’s brand and leaves a strong, lasting impression on clients and staff.
Client-Facing Documentation & Proposal Support
- Review ABRs, QBRs, and client presentations for brand alignment, professionalism, tone, and accuracy, providing edits and formatting support.
- Assist in drafting, formatting, and customizing RFP responses and proposals; maintain MSA and proposal templates in collaboration with the leadership and sales teams.
The Qualifications
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have the following traits and qualifications:
- You have 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, events, or a related role.
- You’re proficient in Canva and comfortable working with a variety of digital tools and platforms, including our company-approved AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Gemini).
- You have hands-on experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn) and producing content that drives engagement.
- You have experience with website content management (updating pages, blog posts, and event listings).
- You’re an exceptional communicator; your written work is polished, clear, and tailored to the audience.
- You have strong organizational skills and can manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without dropping the ball.
- You have a sharp eye for detail; inconsistencies in brand, formatting, or tone stand out to you immediately.
- You’re a self-starter who can take a brief and run with it, while also knowing when to loop in the right people.
- Experience in an MSP and/or B2B environment or professional services industry is considered an asset.
Why Work Here?

- We value your personal and professional growth. We offer generous professional development allowances, and you’ll have the opportunity to grow upwards in your career.
- You’re not a cog in a giant, immoveable, unthinking machine. Be a part of a company where your voice is valued and your ideas can be put into motion.
- Life’s too short to work with people you dislike! We focus on building a diverse crew of good and talented people, and we stay connected through social events worth writing home about.
