Job Description
Summary: Accrete is a dynamic and innovative company focused on transforming the future of artificial intelligence. They are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, monitor cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines across development and production environments
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.) to ensure uptime, scalability, and performance
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm
- Assist in automating build, deployment, and monitoring processes
- Collaborate with development, InfoSec, and platform teams to improve reliability and deployment efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment, build, and deployment issues
- Support security, compliance, and documentation requirements across environments
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related fields (internship or project experience acceptable)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Basic understanding of Linux systems administration and shell scripting
- Basic understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Basic understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to security and compliance automation (FedRAMP, IL environments)
- Experience working in regulated or government environments
- Familiarity with GitOps practices or automated testing in CI/CD
