Summary: Accrete is a dual-use AI software company that licenses its Knowledge Engine Platform and Expert AI Agents to government and enterprise clients. The role involves designing user experiences and interfaces for AI-powered products, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with engineers and product managers. Responsibilities: - Design user experiences and interfaces for AI-powered products and internal tools - Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes - Translate concepts from design into functional prototypes using modern AI-assisted design and coding tools - Collaborate with engineers and product managers to iterate quickly on product ideas - Help improve design systems and interaction patterns across the platform - Conduct lightweight user research and incorporate feedback into design iterations - Experiment with emerging AI tools that accelerate product design and frontend implementation Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Product Design, or a related field - Strong interest in UX/UI design and building intuitive product experiences - Comfortable working in tools such as Figma or similar design platforms - Interested in bridging design and implementation using AI-powered prototyping or code generation tools - Curious about how AI can accelerate product development workflows - Strong visual communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: - Bonus points for familiarity with HTML/CSS, React, or frontend development concepts - Enjoy rapidly iterating on ideas and prototypes - Think deeply about usability and product experience - Are excited by the future of AI-native product design - Can move fluidly between design thinking and lightweight implementation - Want hands-on experience building products in a fast-paced startup environment Required Skills: UX/UI design, Figma, Wireframing, Mockups, User flows, Interactive prototypes, AI-assisted design tools, Code generation tools, HTML, CSS, React, Frontend development concepts, Visual communication Benefits: Four days per week in our Lower Manhattan office
