Must have skills : Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: We are seeking a Team Lead Data Security & DLP with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Purview, Cyberhaven, and Microsoft Defender to lead enterprise data protection initiatives. The role focuses on data loss prevention (DLP), insider risk, endpoint and cloud data security, while providing technical leadership and operational oversight to a team of security analysts and engineers. Roles & Responsibilities: -Data Security & DLP Leadership -Lead a team of Data Security / DLP analysts and engineers across endpoint, cloud, and SaaS environments. -Act as the primary escalation point for Purview, Cyberhaven, and Defender-related incidents and issues. -Drive implementation of enterprise-wide data protection and insider risk strategies. -Microsoft Purview -Configure and manage Microsoft Purview for DLP, Information Protection, Data Classification, and Insider Risk. -Define and maintain sensitivity labels, DLP policies, and auto-labeling rules. -Monitor alerts, investigate policy violations, and drive remediation. -Cyberhaven -Manage Cyberhaven for data flow visibility, insider threat detection, and data exfiltration prevention. -Analyze user behavior and data movement across endpoints, browsers, and cloud applications. -Lead investigations into insider risk and data leakage incidents. -Microsoft Defender -Oversee Microsoft Defender capabilities relevant to data security, including: -Defender for Endpoint -Defender for Office 365 -Defender for Cloud Apps -Ensure effective alert triage, tuning, and integration with SOC workflows. -Security Operations & Incident Response -Lead response to data security incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. -Collaborate with SOC, Endpoint, Cloud, and Legal/HR teams during investigations. -Ensure proper documentation and post-incident reviews. -Governance, Risk & Compliance -Ensure data security controls align with organizational policies, regulatory, and privacy requirements. -Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting. -Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation. -Continuous Improvement & Automation -Drive continuous improvement in data detection, policy effectiveness, and response automation. -Identify opportunities to reduce false positives and improve user experience. -Contribute to the data security roadmap and maturity enhancements. Professional & Technical Skills: - 7 to10 years of experience in Data Security, DLP, or Information Protection roles. - Strong hands-on experience with: - Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk) - Cyberhaven - Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Office 365, Cloud Apps) - Solid understanding of data classification, insider threat, and DLP frameworks. - Experience leading or mentoring security teams. - Experience with SaaS security and CASB solutions. - Knowledge of privacy and regulatory standards (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2). - Microsoft security certifications (SC-200, SC-400). - Experience in large enterprise or managed security environments. - Strong analytical and investigation skills. - Ability to translate data security risks into business impact. - Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
