Fixed Assets & Reporting Manager with English (2-Year Contract

By being part of our team, you will work from Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00, in a hybrid way from our Bucharest office. This is a fixed-term role for a period of 2 years.
How you’ll make an impact:
Manage accounting, reconciliation, and reporting activities for Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow related to fixed assets, accounts payable, and receivable;
Perform month-end closing activities in compliance with SOx requirements, including:
Reconciliation of Balance Sheet and P&L general ledger accounts with the Fixed Asset Register and reporting structures;
Reconciliation of all fixed asset transaction flows (additions, disposals, transfers, manual depreciation, and amortization);
Verification of depreciation calculations for asset additions to ensure compliance with policies;
Review of assets under analysis (capitalization, depreciation, credit balances, etc.);
Maintain and coordinate key fixed asset control processes:
Conduct bi-annual depreciation assessments
Lead annual fixed asset verification and labeling processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders;
Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for fixed asset records;
Oversee intragroup asset transfers, ensuring contractual compliance and accurate system processing;
Manage year-end fixed asset postings;
Ensure adherence to fixed asset policies and frameworks across all functions;
Review supplier contracts to ensure compliance with accounting standards;
Support financial planning by conducting cost center and liquidity forecasts related to fixed assets;
Coordinate and support annual audit activities by preparing fixed asset schedules and addressing auditor requests.
Skills that make your work successful
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Good understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles;
Experience in balance sheet reconciliation, forecasting, and analysis;
Ability to work with large data sets and present information in a clear and structured way (SAP/BI/BPC is a plus);
Experience with SAP and/or BPC;
Good prioritization skills and resilience in a dynamic environment;
Proactive mindset, with focus on improving processes and reporting;
Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders;
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
