Job Description
Summary: Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the U.S. federal government enhance national security and improve public services through technology. As a Software Engineering Analyst, you will engage in hands-on training and apply your engineering skills to develop secure, scalable software solutions that integrate advanced AI capabilities for various federal missions.
Responsibilities:
- Experiment and be an early adopter of emerging technologies and next-generation IT tools, including genitive AI, intelligent agents, and edge computing
- Leverage advanced engineering frameworks such as Agentic AI to accelerate solution development and automate complex workflows
- Design and build full-stack applications using languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Spring Boot
- Deploy cloud-native solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless functions, and infrastructure-as-code
- Integrate AI/ML models into production systems using various tools, optimizing for performance, stability, and ethical use
- Collaborate in agile teams to deliver secure, resilient, and innovative software that supports federal missions and improves citizen services
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field, with a graduation date no later than August 31, 2026
- Strong foundation in programming languages and familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
- Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required, 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred) from a 4-year accredited institution
- Coursework or hands-on experience in multiple programming languages, modern frameworks, architectures, databases, cloud platforms, and AI/ML
- Experience with full-stack development frameworks and knowledge of secure coding practices and software testing methodologies
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and exposure to Agentic AI concepts or autonomous system design
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
