DevOps Engineer Location: Chennai Project Role : DevOps Engineer Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Must have skills : Apache NiFi Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. The engineer actively monitors and enhances system security, collaborates with various teams to optimize cloud environments, and manages container orchestration platforms. Daily tasks include troubleshooting infrastructure issues, automating repetitive tasks, and ensuring that the development environment remains robust and scalable to meet evolving project needs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability. - Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance development and operational efficiency. - Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache NiFi. - Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies. - Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies. - Knowledge of security best practices in software development and infrastructure management. - Ability to automate workflows and manage infrastructure as code.
