DevOps Engineer Location: Pune Project Role : DevOps Engineer Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Must have skills : SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling & Development Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: In the role of DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This includes setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, as well as managing cloud environments and container orchestration platforms. The role requires ensuring that all systems and processes are secure and resilient against potential threats. Collaboration with various teams to streamline workflows and improve automation is a key part of daily activities, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the implementation of automation strategies to enhance deployment efficiency and reduce manual intervention. - Monitor system performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain operational stability. - Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling & Development. - Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. - Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies. - Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools and automation frameworks. - Familiarity with security best practices in software development and deployment environments.
