Must have skills : Pega Architecture Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with team members to utilize modern frameworks and agile practices, ensuring the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will also participate in discussions to refine project requirements and contribute to the overall success of the software development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality. - Architectural Design: LSAs are the chief architects of the PEGA solution. - They design the application's overall structure, including the class hierarchy, data model, security framework, and integration with other enterprise systems. - They ensure the design is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with PEGA's best practices (guardrails). - Technical Leadership & Mentoring: An LSA leads the development team, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior and senior system architects. - They foster a culture of technical excellence and ensure the team adheres to design standards and quality metrics. - Solution Scoping and Strategy: They work closely with business stakeholders and Business Architects to translate business requirements into a robust technical design. - They are responsible for defining the project's technical scope, estimating effort, and identifying po Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Architecture. - Experience with software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum. - Strong understanding of system integration and application architecture. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
