Team Leader - Claims Assessment
Location: Wellington, New Zealand

As a Team Leader in Claims Assessment, you will join a cohesive leadership team who are dedicated to providing a positive employee experience through engagement, motivation and empowerment of their teams, in an environment that also ensures that you are well supported.
You will lead a team which may include but not limited to Cover Assessors, Specialist Cover Assessors (registered health professionals assessing cover for Treatment Injury) or Treatment and Support Assessors.
At this time, we are looking for a leader to step into a team of experienced assessors that mainly focus on Treatment Injury claims. In order to successfully lead this team, experience in a clinical setting is fundamental.
In this role, you will lead a high-performing team that delivers proactive, efficient support to our kiritaki, ensuring timely, quality decisions that enable recovery and rehabilitation.

What we are looking for:
- Leadership experience in a customer focused or service delivery environment or demonstrated leadership within a team or project.
- Experience in leading teams and/or individuals, ensuring strong engagement and ability to connect people to their purpose.
- To be considered a strong candidate for this role, demonstrated experience in a clinical environment is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to make decisions in complex and/or challenging situations.
- Demonstrated resilience and the ability to navigate difficult conversations effectively.
- Proven ability to motivate operational teams to achieve quality customer outcomes using data and insights.
- Experience coaching people to achieve results, adapting your approach to suit individual needs and styles.
