The Cybersecurity Intern will support the Cybersecurity team by contributing to strategic initiatives and operational projects, providing hands-on experience in a professional pharmaceutical environment. Responsibilities: - Help identify and track security weaknesses by reviewing results from scanning tools (systems that check for missing updates, risky settings, or known issues) and document the findings to help verify when fixes are applied - Support investigation of security incidents (examples: suspicious sign-ins, malware warnings, or phishing emails) by gathering basic details (time, device, user impact) and writing clear notes so others can act quickly - Learn and practice secure, professional habits such as protecting sensitive information, following documented processes, and asking questions early when something is unclear - Review and triage security alerts using monitoring software that collects activity from computers and online services (often called a security event monitoring or SIEM tool).
