Academies of Math and Science is hosting an in-person Hiring Event at our Prince campus and we are seeking passionate, mission-driven educators and support staff to join our team for the upcoming school year.

Qualified candidates who apply to this requisition may be invited to attend our May 22 Hiring Event, where they will have the opportunity to participate in on-the-spot interviews with school leadership.

We are actively hiring for several instructional and support positions and are looking for candidates who are committed to academic excellence, high expectations, and student success.

Current Vacancies

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

• 4th Grade Math & Science Teacher

• Middle School Science Teacher

• Middle School Math Teacher

• Special Education Teachers

• Paraprofessionals

• Special Education Paraprofessionals

Candidates with experience working in high-performing charter schools, Title I environments, or diverse student populations are strongly encouraged to apply.

Candidates who attend the hiring event will have the opportunity to:

• Meet directly with school leadership

• Participate in an interview and potential instructional discussion/demo

• Learn more about the Academies of Math and Science mission and instructional model

• Potentially move forward quickly in the hiring process

Walk-ins are welcome; however, early registration through this application is strongly encouraged to help us plan interview schedules and ensure timely interviews for all candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

Teacher Candidates

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain certification

• Demonstrated commitment to student achievement and academic excellence

• Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills

• Passion for working with diverse student populations

Paraprofessional Candidates

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience supporting students in a classroom setting preferred

• Ability to support instructional and behavioral needs of students

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching or supporting students in a Title I or charter school environment

• Experience supporting students with special needs and/or English Language Learners

• Strong data-driven instruction and student engagement practices
