Summary: ABM Industries is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Austin, TX area. In this role, you will support the facilities team by performing light maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep to ensure the building remains clean, safe, and fully operational. Responsibilities: - Perform light maintenance and repair duties throughout the facility - Conduct routine inspections and report any issues or needed repairs - Support general facilities upkeep, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met - Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as needed - Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition - Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required - Basic knowledge of hand tools, minor repairs, and safety procedures - Ability to work independently and follow instructions - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required Preferred Qualifications: - Previous maintenance or facilities support experience preferred Required Skills: Maintenance experience, Basic plumbing skills, Basic electrical skills Important Skills: Hand tools knowledge Benefits: 401(k), ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.
