The Associate Reliability Engineer will develop and lead preventative and predictive reliability programs to ensure safe, efficient operations and consistent production of high-quality products at the Sturgis, MI location. Responsibilities: - Assists in development, planning, and execution of all plant-related engineering activities including a wide variety of mechanical, chemical, and electrical components supporting equipment efficiency throughout the site - Analyze system failures to determine source and cause - Participate in evaluating system conditions and contributing to the development of long-term obsolescence and sustainability plans - Lead mechanical integrity inspection programs for various equipment/vessels - Applies working knowledge of engineering disciplines and independently conceives and develops approaches to problem solving that requires advanced technical knowledge - Plans and conducts small to medium-sized projects. Responsibilities include detailed project planning/monitoring, budgeting, project reviews, implementation, validation, and release to production - Promote and drive continuous improvement programs utilizing common problem-solving tools and methodologies in processes and procedures within the - Ensure delivery of effective performance management while establishing and sustaining a positive work environment - Follows escalation reporting process with inputs from peers/manager for decision making as required.
