Job Description
About Abbode
Founded in 2021, Abbode is a New York City–based personalization and lifestyle brand offering thoughtfully designed accessories, gifts, and everyday products. Through embroidery and distinctive design, we create pieces that feel personal, whether for yourself, a thoughtful gift, or a milestone worth celebrating.
With a flagship boutique in NYC and a growing presence across ecommerce, retail, and wholesale, we're expanding our collections and building the team for our next stage of growth.
The Role
We're looking for a highly analytical, hands-on Senior Marketing Manager who combines strong brand marketing judgment with the ability to own a plan and deliver results. You'll turn business goals and brand ideas into clear priorities and coordinated campaigns, executing against an agreed budget and using data to guide decisions.
Working closely with leadership, you'll help shape the strategy, recommend where to focus our time and spend, and take ownership of execution. You'll bring agencies and internal teams together around a shared plan, set clear expectations, resolve roadblocks, and follow through from brief to launch. This role combines strong operational ownership with brand judgment, analytical thinking, and a practical understanding of the full customer journey.
What You'll Do
- Own the marketing plan and calendar. Translate business goals into monthly and quarterly priorities, with clear campaign objectives, channel plans, owners, timelines, and budgets. Bring ideas and recommendations to leadership and turn decisions into action.
- Drive delivery across agencies and internal teams. Brief and coordinate marketing partners, Creative, Content, Ecommerce, and Retail; align with Operations on product readiness. Set deliverables, review work, manage dependencies, and hold partners accountable to deadlines and quality.
- Execute against the marketing budget. Plan campaign and channel allocations within the approved budget, track spend and commitments, and flag variances early. Recommend tradeoffs and reallocations based on priorities and results.
- Connect campaigns across the customer journey. Coordinate launches and ongoing marketing across social, creators, partnerships, email/SMS, the website, and paid media. Adapt creative and messaging to each channel while keeping the brand and campaign goals consistent.
- Turn reporting into decisions. Critically evaluate agency and internal reporting, question assumptions and attribution, and recommend what to improve, test, or scale. Set appropriate measures for brand-building and sales-driving work, considering awareness, engagement, acquisition cost, return on ad spend, conversion, repeat purchase, and profitability.
- Build a reliable way of working. Run planning and progress reviews, maintain clear briefs and project tracking, and resolve roadblocks before they delay delivery. Stay hands-on with briefs, messaging, asset reviews, and campaign execution as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with responsibility across multiple channels at a consumer brand. Experience at a smaller or growing brand in fashion, accessories, home, gifting, beauty, or lifestyle is a plus.
- A track record of owning marketing plans and delivering campaigns against a budget, with clear examples of your contribution, decisions, and results.
- Strong project management and follow-through: you can turn an idea into a workable plan, coordinate agencies and internal teams, manage competing priorities, and keep people accountable.
- Highly analytical, with strong spreadsheet skills and experience evaluating marketing spend and performance. You can challenge assumptions and agency recommendations, distinguish meaningful trends from noise, and turn the numbers into clear strategic and budget decisions.
- Strong understanding of brand marketing, including positioning, customer behavior, storytelling, and creative judgment. You can write clear briefs and connect brand-building with commercial goals across social, creators, ecommerce, email/SMS, and paid media.
The Opportunity
You'll help shape Abbode's marketing direction and build the structure that makes it happen, with ownership of the plan, visibility into results, and a direct contribution to the brand's next stage of growth.
