Spacecraft Engineer at a.i. solutions, Inc. in Welcome Acres, MD

a.i. solutions is seeking a Spacecraft Engineer that will support the Mission System Support contract at the Blossom Point Satellite Command and Tracking Facility (BPTF). The program supports the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in sustaining mission-critical satellite command, control, tracking, and ground-system operations. Team members will contribute to the reliable operation, integration, maintenance, and advancement of systems essential to national security space missions. This role is contingent upon contract award.

The Spacecraft Engineer will monitor health status and provide support for spacecraft in operation, including recovery and spacecraft anomalies. Support spacecraft operations and configuration changes. Develop mission plans, check the logs for day and overnight activity, compiles system and network statistics, writes or modifies perform files, and evaluate and trend spacecraft performance. Work with the spacecraft factories, RF and digital technicians, network engineers, software teams, and others during existing or new spacecraft into the ground command and control architectures, includes spacecraft designs reviews, integration, ground and on-orbit tests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science discipline or related field.
• Must have a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information at time of contract award
