Furniture Design Intern at 360 Interior Designs in Delhi / NCR

Role & responsibilities
• Develop furniture design concepts, mood boards, and detailed drawings for live commercial and residential projects.
• Prepare 2D working drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools.
• Assist in material selection, finishes, hardware specification, and joinery detailing.
• Coordinate with the factory and production team on prototypes, samples, and quality checks.
• Support BOQ preparation, costing inputs, and vendor coordination for furniture packages.
• Conduct site visits and assist with measurements, installation supervision, and snag resolution.
• Research market trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to bring fresh ideas to the studio.

Preferred candidate profile
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (mandatory); knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Strong sketching ability and understanding of furniture proportions, ergonomics, and materials.
• Basic knowledge of wood, metal, laminates, veneers, upholstery, and hardware.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work on-site and at the factory when required.
• A portfolio of academic or personal furniture/product design work (must be submitted with application).
