Tsenta for Claude

What it is

The Tsenta connector lets Claude take real actions in your Tsenta account on your behalf. Once connected, you can ask Claude to find jobs that fit you, apply with an AI-tailored resume, edit your profile, check your dedicated Tsenta inbox for recruiter mail, and check the status of submitted applications, all without leaving the Claude chat.

The connector uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) over a hosted, OAuth-protected endpoint. You authorize it once, and you can revoke every connected client with Sign out everywhere in the new dashboard's Account settings or by resetting your Tsenta password.

What you can do

The connector exposes Tsenta's core capabilities to Claude as tools. The main groups are:

• Discover jobs. Personalized recommendations scored against your profile, with filters for role, seniority, location, salary, work authorization, and more. Pull full descriptions for any job by id.
• Apply to jobs. Submit applications with an AI-tailored resume and cover letter. Approve or skip resume / cover-letter optimization per application. Check the status of in-flight applications and review what's waiting on you.
• Manage your profile. Submit or replace your resume from structured data, edit personal info, work authorization, work experience, education, projects, certifications, skills, and resume styling.
• Triage your inbox. List and read messages in your dedicated Tsenta inbox (auto-classified into Verification, Interview, Offer, Rejection, Assessment, Reminder, General), mark messages as read, download available attachments, reply from your Tsenta address, and update the forwarding address.
• Network after you apply. Find the best recruiter, hiring-team, or warm-intro contact at a company you applied to (or any company), look up their verified work email, and save an email or LinkedIn draft. Tsenta never sends outreach; you send it yourself.
• Check your balance. See your plan and remaining application allowance.
• Manage your tracker and Auto Apply. Add and update tracked applications. Read and change Auto Apply settings, including turning it on when your plan supports it.
• Send feedback. File a bug report or feature request directly to the Tsenta team.

Setup

You will need a Tsenta account. Sign up free if you don't have one yet, then:

1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, then + Add → Add custom connector. Name it Tsenta and paste the server URL https://api.autojobs.me/api/v1/mcp. Continue and choose Sign in now and Register automatically if asked. Leave client ID, secret and request headers empty, then select Add.
2. Click Connect. Claude will open a Tsenta consent screen in your browser.
3. Sign in to your Tsenta account if prompted, then click Approve.
4. You'll be returned to Claude with the connector active. Try one of the example prompts below.

First-time users: complete onboarding (resume upload, location, work authorization, application preferences) in the Tsenta dashboard, or ask Claude to help fill in what is missing. Your address and location must be set in the dashboard. Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; Free allows one. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector for the organization. Example prompts

Once connected, try asking Claude things like:

1. Discover & apply: “Find me the best entry-level engineering jobs based in SF posted in the last 24 hours, and apply to the top 5 if my profile is a strong fit.”Uses get-job-recommendations, get-jobs-by-ids, get-application-balance, apply-to-job.
2. Inbox triage: “Any new offers or interview emails in my Tsenta inbox this week? Summarize the important ones.”Uses list-inbox-messages, get-inbox-message, category filtering.
3. Profile editing: “I just started at Acme as a Staff Engineer this March. Add it to my profile and update my LinkedIn to linkedin.com/in/janedoe.”Uses get-profile-status, set-personal-info, set-work-experience.
4. Status & approval: “Check the status of my last 5 applications and approve anything that's stuck waiting on me to sign off the rewritten resume.” Uses list-applications, get-application-status, approve-application.
5. Networking: “For each application that went through today, find the best recruiter at that company, get their verified email, and draft a short intro I can send.”Uses find-networking-contacts, find-contact-email, save-outreach-draft.

What the connector can access

One approval grants access to all available Tsenta tools on your account. Connect only clients you trust. Claude can read and change the following on your behalf:

• Your Tsenta profile (resume, personal info, work history, education, skills, preferences).
• Your application history and the status of in-flight applications.
• Job recommendations and full job posting details.
• Your Tsenta inbox and available attachments, replies and forwarding settings.
• Your plan and application balance.
• Your job tracker and Auto Apply settings.
• Networking contacts, verified emails, and outreach drafts saved to your account.

The connector cannot read your personal Gmail or Outlook (those go through a separate, optional integration), and cannot access other users' data. Connector activity is logged for analytics, abuse detection, and support.

Limitations

• Each apply consumes a credit. Only submitted applications count against your allowance. Failed, skipped, cancelled or never-approved attempts are returned automatically.
• Some ATS systems are unsupported. Tsenta covers the major job-application systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, and more). If a posting uses an unsupported ATS, apply-to-job returns a clear error and refunds the credit.
• Some inbox attachments are unavailable. Your assistant can get a short-lived download link for stored attachments. Older attachments or files that were too large may be unavailable; check the forwarded email copy.
• Networking has a daily allowance. Searching a new company and looking up an email share a per-plan daily limit that resets at midnight US Eastern. Re-checking a company you already searched is free. Only verified emails are returned.

Pricing

The connector itself is free to use. Submitting applications uses your Tsenta application allowance. Your first 25 applications are free, once per account, with no card. Paid plans add an allowance per 30-day cycle. See pricing for current plans, and ask Claude to call get-application-balance any time to see how many credits you have left.

Troubleshooting

• “The OAuth window closed without authorizing.” Make sure your browser allows pop-ups for dashboard.tsenta.com. If you closed the consent screen by accident, try connecting again from Claude's connector settings.
• “profile is missing: ...” Apply-to-job needs certain fields filled in (resume, work authorization, contact info). Ask Claude to call get-profile-status to see which fields are missing. The response names the fields and profile sections to update. Your address and location must be set in the Tsenta dashboard.
• “out of applications” Your application allowance is depleted. Check your plan and balance in the Tsenta dashboard before retrying.
• “already applied to this job” Tsenta deduplicates per (user, job posting). If you really want to re-apply, do it from the dashboard which prompts for confirmation; the connector will not re-submit.
• Application stuck on PENDING_RESUME_REVIEW or PENDING_CL_REVIEW. You have auto-approve disabled and the application is waiting for you. Ask Claude to “approve any pending applications” or to “skip the resume rewrite for application X”.
• Claude says it can't find the connector or tools. Disconnect and reconnect from Customize → Connectors. If the issue persists, contact support below.
