About the team
The Strategic Operations, Industry Affairs Team, is a division within Industry Affairs at Zillow Group. This team is responsible for strategic projects with a focus on Retention, Content Acquisition and Adoption of Zillow products and services. The Strategic Operations, Industry Affairs Team works cross functionally and in synchronization with Broker & Industry Affairs, Association & Industry Affairs, MLS Engagement and Broker Development. The Strategic Operations, Industry Affairs Team also partners with many business lines including Rentals, Showcase, Listing Media Services, and many others. The Strategic Operations, Industry Affairs Team rolls up to the Director of Strategic Operations for monthly guidance goals, and objectives.
About the role
The Strategic Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in conducting outreach, delivering presentations both in person and virtually, and showcasing our overall value proposition to key industry partners. The primary focus is to secure agreements, retain existing agreements, acquire new content and foster the adoption of Zillow products and services. In addition, you will be responsible for advancing multiple projects and initiatives by evangelizing on behalf of Zillow Group.
You Will Get To:
Conduct in-market and virtual outreach to Brokers, MLSs, Associations, Agents, and Industry Partners to retain, acquire and drive product adoption
Conduct outreach to Brokers, Agents, MLSs, and Associations to acquire listings and listing agreements.
Host webinars and in-person presentations to further business goals
Conduct training/onboarding and work one-on-one with business partners
Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events on behalf of ShowingTime+ and Zillow Group
Proactively connect and partner with various internal teams including Broker, MLS and Association Industry Affairs teams, as well as Broker and MLS Development Teams
Occasionally host full team meetings, huddles, and project meetings
Communicate regional metrics and present to management and stakeholders
Work with peers to de-escalate and find solutions to issues
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $34.40 - $55.00 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $32.70 - $52.30 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.
Who you are
Solid understanding and experience with the real estate industry. Active real estate license is a plus.
1 year + creating and facilitating training content.
Must possess excellent presentation and communication skills.
Must thrive in a fast-paced, goal driven environment, perform at a high level and be motivated to get results.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
Organized, creative and okay with ambiguity but driven to create clarity
Adaptable, able to work on multiple projects or change priorities if necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - and an emphasis on virtual comms (Zoom, Google Meetups, etc.) is a bonus
Familiar with business support software applications such as Salesforce, Google Sheets, Tableau, Zendesk, Asana, etc.
