College Intern- Learning and Development

Summary: Yokohama Tire Corporation is seeking a College Intern to support learning and development initiatives. The role involves resolving issues, processing information, and working in a team environment to enhance global standards and processes. Responsibilities: - Support departmental needs - Seeking solution of process capability or non-conformance problems - Use analytical tools to develop knowledge and experience - Support and enhance processes, methods, and procedures significant to product development - Work in a team environment towards bringing new product and technologies and techniques to the process - Prepares documentation, reports, and presentations of technical data related to studies and projects –speaks with data and facts in a clear and effective manner - All other duties assigned by manager or engineering advisor Required Qualifications: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software - Good knowledge of data analysis tools, especially Microsoft office - Ability to accomplish assignments in a logical fashion, using existing technology and standardized methodologies - 1- 5 Years' college level experience with a focus on Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, or Business Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Data analysis, Lean principles, Process capability analysis, Analytical skills
