As a Junior Project Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of engineering and automation projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Customers, and Contractors, you will coordinate project activities, manage stakeholders, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in project management while gaining hands-on experience in complex industrial projects.
Your Responsibilities
As a Junior Project Leader, you will:
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and automation projects.
Develop and manage project work packages for modifications and customer projects.
Prepare execution plans in collaboration with Project Managers and Engineers.
Coordinate project activities, resources, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth project delivery.
Schedule engineering activities in collaboration with the planning department.
Prepare work permits, access passes, and other project documentation required for safe execution.
Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, highlighting risks and opportunities where needed.
Coordinate subcontractors and third-party suppliers throughout project execution.
Participate in customer meetings, kick-off meetings, and project review sessions.
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure all project records remain up to date.
Support cost estimation and budget preparation for project materials and labour.
Coordinate follow-up actions and repairs resulting from maintenance and project activities.
