Role Overview
Lead the end-to-end strategic agenda for the category across Southeast Asia—driving integrated growth through connected communications, audience-first planning, and cross-market orchestration. Act as the strategic bridge between regional ambition and market execution, shaping IMC strategies, elevating creative output, and ensuring seamless integration across media, creative, KOL, commerce, and data ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Be the media brand custodian in SE Asia: -
Strategy Leadership
Lead annual strategy and IMC development for Chocolates across SEA
Drive regional + local campaign strategies (festive, innovation, key campaigns)
Enable Consumer Experience pillars (Data, Personalization, KOL, eCommerce)
Develop audience frameworks and playbooks
Build Test and Learn (T&L) agendas and adoption across markets
Integrated Communications (IMC)
Lead end-to-end integration across creative, media, KOL, commerce, and data
Drive media effectiveness, innovation and cross-market scaling
Lead strategic briefing for ideas and solutions from JBP and non-JBP partners
Partner with CDS/Data/Commerce leads for connected planning
Define connected consumer journeys and touchpoint roles and integration
Stakeholder Leadership
Act as primary strategic voice for CDM across SEA from WPP Media
Partner with Regional Equity teams and strategic link with in-market leads
Lead relationships with WPP Creative (regional and global), and other agencies
Capability Building and Fame
Support regional and local strategy teams for award entries showcasing best in class work for external and internal.
Build and maintain a regional library of strategic case studies, frameworks, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
12+ years in brand strategy, communications planning, or integrated strategy roles—preferably in top-tier creative or media agencies.
Strong experience working on FMCG/CPG brands; food/snacking experience is a plus.
Deep understanding of Southeast Asian consumer culture, digital ecosystems, and media behaviours.
Demonstrated ability to lead multi-agency integration.
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and client partnership skills.
Proven track record of elevating creative work through strategic leadership.
Ability to manage complexity across multiple markets and stakeholders.
