Job Description
Summary: WinC Services is a Pasadena-based managed IT services provider supporting businesses across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego County. They are seeking an entry-level Low-Voltage and IT Service Technician to support clients with on-site IT and low-voltage service needs including installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs for IT equipment and low-voltage systems including structured cabling, surveillance cameras, and access control devices
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues at client locations
- Support Microsoft 365 user setup, device configuration, and basic endpoint management
- Assist with network infrastructure tasks including Wi-Fi access point mounting, cable runs, and patch panel terminations
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner and keep clients informed throughout the resolution process
- Document completed work in our ticketing and RMM systems
- Collaborate with senior technicians on complex projects and escalate issues appropriately
- Represent WinC Services professionally at all client sites
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree preferred
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts
- Ability to run cable, use hand tools, and work in various physical environments (attics, ceilings, server rooms)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation - regular travel to client sites required
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client-facing demeanor
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple service requests
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with IP camera systems, access control, or structured cabling is a plus
- Exposure to Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, or macOS in a support capacity is a plus
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification (or actively pursuing one) is a plus
