Job Description
We are currently seeking a full‑time, in‑office Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our WBI Home Warranty team at our Surrey office. This role has a strong focus on reception and front‑office administration and serves as a key point of contact for clients, visitors, and internal departments. The successful candidate will be highly organized, professional, and personable, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
The Administrative Assistant / Receptionist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the office by providing reception coverage, managing administrative tasks, and supporting multiple departments across the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks listed below:
- Serve as the primary receptionist, answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional manner, taking messages, and responding to general inquiries.
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors at the front desk, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and general office correspondence.
- Provide general administrative support to multiple departments, including Underwriting, Claims, Accounting, and Management as required.
- Organize, update, and maintain electronic and files in accordance with company processes and procedures.
- Prepare basic correspondence, letters, memos, and administrative documentation.
- Assist with data entry, document processing, and record management.
- Support the processing of new home warranty registrations and other administrative workflows as required.
- Prepare meeting materials, coordinate meeting logistics, and take meeting minutes when requested.
- Monitor and maintain front office supplies and assist with general office organization.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge & Experience
- 2–3 years of administrative or office experience.
- 2–3 years of data entry experience.
- Previous experience in a reception or front‑desk role is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of a second language such as Punjabi, Hindi, Mandarin, or Cantonese is an asset.

Compensation
- The expected salary for this position is $52,000.00 and may be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and role responsibilities.
