The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Global Intercompany Accounting to join our Global Accounting and Finance COE team in India. In this role, you will be a critical member of our intercompany accounting operations, responsible for managing complex intercompany transactions, transfer pricing calculations, reconciliations, and reporting across TELUS's global entities. You will ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations, maintain accurate intercompany records, and support seamless financial consolidation across all business units. Ideal for: Detail-oriented finance professionals with strong technical accounting knowledge, transfer pricing expertise, and the ability to manage complex multi-currency transactions in a fast-paced global environment. Key Responsibilities 4-6 years of experience in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, or global accounting operations. Transfer Pricing Calculations & Documentation : Execute transfer pricing processes for various transaction types including cost-plus arrangements, R&D fees, royalties, management fees, and reseller feesPrepare and maintain transfer pricing calculations to ensure arm's length complianceSupport transfer pricing audits and provide documentation to the tax teamMonitor changes in transfer pricing regulations and ensure timely implementation of policy updates Intercompany Transaction Processing : Record and process diverse intercompany transactions, including: Cost-plus intercompany transactions with appropriate markup calculations, R&D service fees and cost allocations, Reseller/distribution fees and revenue sharing arrangementsManagement and administrative service charges, Royalty and licensing fee paymentsLoan interest calculations and accrualsEnsure accurate coding and allocation of transactions to appropriate intercompany accountsValidate transaction documentation and supporting evidence for compliance purposesCoordinate with business units to obtain necessary transaction details and supporting documentation Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end intercompany reconciliations. Identify and resolve reconciling items, including timing differences, exchange rate variances, and data entry errorsPrepare reconciliation schedules and variance analysis reportsEscalate unresolved items to management for timely resolution Intercompany Settlements & Netting Process : Intercompany cash settlements and fund transfers between entities. Manage intercompany netting arrangements to optimize cash flow and reduce settlement costs. Coordinate with treasury and banking teams on settlement timing and payment instructions. Prepare settlement schedules and payment reconciliations. Monitor settlement aging and follow up on outstanding items. Ensure compliance with intercompany payment policies and approval workflows Multi-Currency & Foreign Exchange Management Account for transactions in multiple currencies (USD, CAD, GBP, INR, and others). Calculate and record FX revaluations of intercompany accounts at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end. Prepare FX variance analysis and impact assessments. Ensure proper classification of realized and unrealized FX gains/losses. Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and their impact on intercompany balances. Maintain accurate FX conversion records and supporting documentation Qualifications: B.Com http://B.Com / M.Com http://M.Com / MBA / Degree in Finance/Accounting. Experience working with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)SAP S/4HANA Cloud experience preferred, but not required.
