Summary: Williams Comfort Air is one of the largest HVAC and plumbing companies in the Midwest. They are seeking a Dispatch Specialist who can multitask and manage high-volume inbound/outbound phone calls while ensuring a quality customer experience. Responsibilities: - Learn the business and learn how to prioritize the most urgent customer calls - Ensure a quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the technicians in the field - Monitor and respond to dispatch related items in the Dispatch inbox constantly - Contact customers to inform them of the technician's estimated time of arrival - Schedule return visits for technicians and plumbers - Estimate drive time accurately - Record and report the service calls - Participate in training so that you grow and develop as a professional - Update clients throughout the day on the technician’s progress - Ensure understanding by applying advanced listening skills (echoing) in all interactions Required Qualifications: - 1-2+ years of experience in high-volume dispatching required - Dispatching in the service industry is a bonus! - Typing skills 30+ WPM - Excellent listening and communication skills - The ability to multitask and work at a fast pace is key in this role Required Skills: Dispatching, Typing, Multitasking, Listening Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401(k) + HSA (BOTH with company match), FREE telehealth for you & your family (no copay), Company-paid long-term disability + life insurance, Company-paid Mental health support (EAP + wellness program), Short-term disability, accident & critical illness insurance, Up to 4 weeks PTO (based on tenure), Industry-leading training & advancement opportunities
