Job Description
Summary: Wiley X is a company founded by U.S. Army Veteran Myles Freeman Sr. in 1987, known for creating premium protective eyewear. The Business Systems & Reporting Analyst I is responsible for analyzing and improving business systems and reporting frameworks, coordinating cross-functional efforts to optimize reporting and ensure data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and oversee recurring reporting processes to ensure accuracy and business relevance
- Interpret and synthesize data across systems to support decision-making
- Design reporting frameworks, including logic, sources, and governance
- Evaluate and improve reporting efficiency and scalability
- Develop ad hoc analyses as needed
- Evaluate system issues and determine root causes
- Coordinate resolution strategies with technical teams
- Prioritize requests based on business impact
- Recommend system and workflow improvements
- Oversee product and pricing data integrity across systems
- Validate pricing consistency between platforms
- Define and enforce data standards
- Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Own intake and prioritization of requests through JIRA and IT Support Desk
- Establish structured intake processes
- Triage, categorize, prioritize, and route requests to appropriate owners across Digital Operations, IT, developers, or business teams
- Monitor workflows and resolve bottlenecks, maintaining visibility into ticket status, aging, open items and next steps
- Provide status updates on active tickets, reporting requests, and operational work in progress
- Follow up with stakeholders to clarify needs, confirm resolution, and close the loop on requests
- Act as liaison between business teams, Digital Operations, E-commerce, IT, Finance, and external support partners
- Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, troubleshooting guides, reporting instructions, and internal knowledge base documentation
- Lead training and documentation efforts
- Support onboarding and training of internal users on common system processes and reporting procedures
- Lead user acceptance testing efforts
- Design test scenarios and validation criteria
- Support post-release validation and follow up on issues impacting users or operations
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally
- Strong ability to review and analyze needs to create system solutions that support overall business strategies
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (Business Central) and ecommerce platforms (Shopify)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple workflows and deadlines
- Experience working cross-functionally with other departments
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to have discretion and independent judgment
- 0-2 years of data analytics

- 0-2 years system analysis
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods
