Job Description
Summary: Westwood Community Church is dedicated to stewarding moments of Spirit-led creativity that inspire people to respond and draw closer to Jesus. They are seeking a Film Production Intern to contribute to the Film Content team by assisting in various aspects of the production process, including video creation and social media content development.
Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the Creative Arts team to learn and help with all phases of video creation from collaborative ideation, storyboarding and filming through post-production and effectiveness debrief
- Asset gathering (photo, video, or other) and ideation for social media purposes
- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- Align to and live out the Westwood Staff Values: Head High, Heart Soft, Arms Linked, Feet Forward
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with professional video cameras and other related gear
- Familiarity with professional video editing software
- 1-2 years education and/or experience in professional video production
- Comfortable using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic operation of a computer
- Ability to work in team
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform under stress
- Ability to receive constructive feedback
- High capacity to learn new things
- Ability to follow through on tasks and follow through with people
- Familiarity with both Mac and PC operating systems helpful
- Creative capacity & flexibility
