Job Description
Summary: Westgate Resorts is the largest privately held timeshare company in the world, committed to creating a supportive workplace. The Foundation Intern will provide administrative and project coordination support for the Westgate Foundation and Team Member Engagement team, assisting with various initiatives and events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination, processing, tracking, and documentation of in-kind donation requests for nonprofit fundraising and Foundation initiatives
- Provide administrative and logistical support for Foundation events and campaigns, including planning activities, scheduling, materials preparation, and post-event documentation
- Support Team Member engagement and volunteer initiatives, including the Summer of Service program, Acts of Kindness competition, and other community based activities
- Assist with coordination efforts involving nonprofit partners, including outreach, information gathering, and event participation support
- Maintain and update the Community Resource Guide by researching and documenting social service agencies across multiple states
- Support Foundation communications by assisting with social media content planning, posting, and engagement activities in accordance with established guidelines
- Participate in Foundation meetings and activities as assigned and provide general administrative support to the team, including recordkeeping and routine reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Prior internship, volunteer, academic, or work experience involving administrative support, event coordination, communications, customer service, or nonprofit/community programs is preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is a plus
- Experience using basic office technology or productivity tools in an academic or work setting is beneficial
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited bachelor's program—or a recent graduate (within 1 year)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and must be in good academic standing
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment
- Demonstrated ability to research, organize, and maintain information accurately
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
