Human Resources Assistant

They are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll / Human Resources Assistant to support HR and payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in employee lifecycle processes and payroll processing. Responsibilities: - Assist in processing payroll accurately and on schedule - Review timesheets, hours worked, and pay adjustments - Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy - Support payroll audits, reporting, and compliance - Respond to employee payroll questions - Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and compliance requirements - Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems - Support benefits administration (enrollments, changes, employee inquiries) - Respond to employee HR inquiries and provide general support - Assist with compliance and HR-related projects, as needed Required Qualifications: - 1–3 years of experience in HR and/or payroll - Knowledge of payroll processes and employment compliance - Experience with HRIS/payroll systems - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Required Skills: Payroll processes, Employment compliance, HRIS systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Benefits administration, Discretion Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, Paid time off and holidays, 401(k) with company match, Opportunities for growth and development
