What you’ll do
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
- Applications Engineering: Prepare pump quotations and technical solutions for slurry pumps.
- Technical Sales Support: Provide technical and commercial support to customers, assisting with problem-solving and ensuring solutions meet client needs.
- Project and Tender Management: Work on large projects and major tenders, coordinating with OE product specialists to deliver integrated, multi-product bids supporting end-to-end solutions.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across sales and engineering teams to support business unit objectives and improve sales efficiency.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive increased customer satisfaction through responsive service and innovative product and service development.
- Travel: Minimal travel,occasional visits to remote sites.
What you’ll bring Must-haves:
- Proven working experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or project/tender environments, ideally within pumps or mining sectors.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and apply pump applications and process equipment knowledge.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to sell solutions and prepare detailed, accurate quotations and tender documentation.
- Relevant engineering degree preferred, or equivalent technical experience demonstrating strong commercial and technical capability.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in mining, minerals processing, power generation, or general industrial markets.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to undertake blue-collar medical assessments including drug and alcohol testing for site visits.
