How will you make a difference?
The Strategic Indirect Sourcing Analyst is responsible for evaluating and optimizing our internal support to stakeholders, supplier performance and logistics. In this role, your duties will include assessing the efficiency of our supply chain, scheduling projects and analyzing cost structures.
What do we want to know about you?
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and 5+ years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement, Program Management, Logistics, Analytics or Supply Chain
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Experience with Analytical Tools (Power BI)
Desired Characteristics:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence people and drive change at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to work across locations and time zones including connections with regions and sites
- Demonstrated ability to influence across a complex matrixed organization
- Proven financial, quantitative and data analysis skills
- Familiarity with Sourcing Systems and analytical reporting tools.
- Experience working with ERP and TMS systems
- Proven ability to manage complex global projects
- Proven ability to develop solutions to resolve operational risks and drives to completion with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrated track-record of leading with the highest level of integrity with a focus on compliance
- Excellent business/financial acumen
What will your typical day look like?
Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve supply chain operations in the indirect space.
- Establish effective communication channels with customers, suppliers and shipping companies.
- Resolve day-to-day supply chain issues and promote operational consistency.
- Evaluate procurement metrics and measure supplier performance.
- Identify project scopes, schedules and costs.
- Project industry trends to implement appropriate responses and contingency measures.
- Report on competitive intelligence, as well as market and consumer trends.
- Ensure compliance on import, export and shipment regulations.
- Establish consistent reporting tools measuring performance of the indirect team, suppliers, specific KPI’s with critical suppliers and logistics.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $79100-112800. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include annual bonus, if eligible.
