Production Level 5 - 1st Shift

Summary: Vinylmax Windows is a company specializing in window manufacturing, and they are seeking a Production Level 5 worker for their 1st shift. The role involves performing essential tasks across the window manufacturing process using hand tools and basic machinery while ensuring quality and production standards are met. Responsibilities: - Glass Washer Feeder: Loads cut glass pieces onto washer conveyors and maintains constant feeding to support insulated glass production - Glass Offload: Removes hot glass units from conveyors, loads them onto carts, and stages full carts for gassing or the next production step - Glass Lidder: Places cleaned glass onto spacer units, builds insulated glass units, and feeds them through the press for sealing - Glass Intercept Operator: Forms metal spacer frames using an intercept machine, hangs units onto conveyors, and changes metal coils and sealant barrels - Performs additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience - Ability to understand English and follow written and verbal instructions - Basic math, reading, and writing skills for measurements and documentation - Ability to identify correct materials, profiles, and components - Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate simple machinery and computer interfaces - Strong attention to detail and quality inspection ability - Ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain accuracy - Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow direction from supervisors - Willingness to learn and operate multiple machines, trainable for various jobs throughout the plant - A criminal background check is required for all positions, upon offer of employment - We are a drug-free workplace Preferred Qualifications: - Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required Required Skills: Basic math, Reading, Mechanical aptitude, Operation of simple machinery, Operation of computer interfaces, Quality inspection, Material identification, follow instructions, work cooperatively Benefits: Health / Vision / Dental / Life / Short‑Term Disability, 6 Paid Holidays, PTO, 401(k) & 401(k) Match, End‑of‑Year Bonus, Employee Referral Program
