Junior Trader

Summary: Victory Capital is a diversified global asset management firm, and they are seeking a Junior Trader to execute buy and sell transactions of fixed income securities. The role involves managing broker relationships, supporting portfolio managers, and maintaining market information to maximize portfolio returns. Responsibilities: - Execute trades across all asset classes, working closely with the portfolio manager to determine issuers and issues to buy and sell - Maintain primary daily communications with brokers, traders, and analysts in multiple asset classes to maintain up to date knowledge of new developments, including issuance and trading flows - Understanding multiple portfolios to determine opportunities as they appear in the market Required Qualifications: - Knowledge of capital markets - Must be proficient in technical applications of Bloomberg and excel - Strong oral communication skills and interpersonal abilities - Ability to manage and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously - College graduate with desire to take the CFA, MBA and/or CPA Required Skills: Capital Markets Knowledge, Bloomberg, Excel, Task Management, Prioritization, Interpersonal Abilities Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision plans, Flexible PTO, Family Medical and Disability Leaves, Education Tuition Reimbursement, 401k plan with a generous employer match
